The Lancaster Historical Society owns and maintains
the historic MKT Depot and Rose Garden in Lancaster, Texas. Our
meetings and many of our special events are held at this location, which
is also available for rental for private parties and corporate events.
The MKT Depot is on Pecan Street, east of Centre
Avenue and adjacent to the railroad tracks. It shares a parking
lot with the LISD Administration Building (located at 422 S. Centre) and
the Lancaster Lions Den.
